Almost as soon as you step off the plane, your nose will be assaulted with a heady mix of spices and herbs, emanating from the countless markets and food stalls. Moroccans are huge foodies, and that shoes in their delicious local cuisine. As we said above, there really is something for everyone in Morocco, and that includes families. The souks can be a source of great interest and fascination, and more often than not, they will come out with pockets bursting at the seams with sweets - the Moroccans love kids! Just watch the faces of the older men break out into big clown smiles while they entertain the kids! Most resorts have nannies, children clubs and babysitting services you can head off for a much overdue date night!

Morocco has an incredibly rich history going back thousands and thousands of years. The oldest human remains, dated at over 300,000 years old, were found here! All around you can find evidence of medieval cities and Roman ruins. Don't forget to visit the city of Fez, a pedestrian-only town which is a designated UNESCO heritage site.
