Most of us spend our days stuck in a workplace, before going home to sleep and repeating it all again. It can sometimes feel like we’re stuck in groundhog day, living the same day over and over which can be frustrating and feel like a real waste of life. It’s why travel is so important, it allows us to break the monotony of our daily routines, and get out there to see more of the beautiful planet we live on. Northern Lights

The northern lights are one of most phenomenal natural wonders on the planet, most of us would love to see the spectacular show blue, green, yellow, purple and pink lit up in the sky. You can see the Northern Lights in lots of countries around the world, but Alaska, Denmark, Scotland and Iceland are some of the most popular. 




The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. You could go camping and explore the area or take a helicopter tour. You also have plenty of nearby towns and cities to visit while you’re there.  




The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef something that tourists from all over the world fly to see every day. It’s actually the largest living structure on Earth, so big that it can even be seen from space! You can see alien like creatures from manta rays to sea snakes, and of course there are thousands of varieties of incredible bird and fish species. Niagara Falls

Niagara is  the collective name for three waterfalls, which sit between the international borders of Ontario and New York. If you visit the NY side you have the glitz and glamour of the city with its incredible architecture, shops, restaurants and more. And from there you have the opportunity to go and see this amazing natural wonder with its pristine hiking trails, scenery and outdoor adventure. It can come as a surprise to those outside of the US that such a monumental natural wonder exists so close to such a major American city. 




National parks

National parks are protected areas of land, making them absolutely beautiful and untouched places to visit. They’re dotted all over the world, and the things you’ll see and do will of course depend on the country you’re in and the time of year. But for the most part expect to see incredible animals, go hiking, boating and much more. It’s a chance to glimpse into seeing what the world would look like if humans hadn’t taken over.
